Apple tree TV (ATV2) 5.0 Update

Seas0nPass currently provides a tethered  jailbreak for the new 5.0 (iOS 5.1) Apple tree Television software. Functionally, both jailbreak types are identical, the only divergence existence that atethered jailbreak requires the Apple TV to be connected to a Mac/PC when first powering it on. Since the Apple TV doesn't have a battery, and is rarely ever powered off, this usually only needs to exist done once.

Seas0nPass Updated for AppleTV 4.four

Seas0nPass has been updated to support a TETHERED jailbreak of the new AppleTV 4.4 (iOS 5) software released on ten/12 (likewise supported are the new small updates - 4.4.1 released on 10/17, 4.4.two released on ten/24, 4.4.three released on xi/17, and iv.four.4 released on 12/16). Total details on what's new in 4.4, status of tertiary party features, and how to update are below.

Seas0nPass Cuts the Cord

Today we're happy to release an updated version of Seas0nPass (for Mac) that includes an untethered jailbreak for the AppleTV 4.i.ane (iOS 4.ii.ane) software. All credit for the untethered jailbreak process goes to the Chronic Dev Team.

Seas0nPass for Windows is also being finalized with the untether and will be available before long.

The latest Beta3 version of aTV Flash (black) is compatible with Seas0nPass, GreenPois0n and Pwnage Tool jailbreaks.

Seas0nPass Jailbreak App Now Available

Today we're proud to innovate Seas0nPass - a new jailbreak tool designed specifically for the AppleTV.

Seas0nPass was created exclusively for the AppleTV user, equally previously no AppleTV specific jailbreak tools were available. Seas0nPass allows you to easily create custom AppleTV IPSW files and restore them in iTunes (like to the existing Pwnage Tool app). As well included is a simple 'tethered boot' selection which aids in using newer AppleTV firmwares when an 'un-tethered' jailbreak is not all the same available.

Seas0nPass is bachelor for free, and is open source. The source code is available on Github.
